°°° TOW it's real_Partie 1

This takes place during the 3rd season. Rachel is living with Monica, Chandler is living with Joey, Phoebe is living by herself, and Ross is living in Ugly Naked Guy’s apartment. Rachel and Ross are still going out. That’s just on the show though… Now, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox-Arquette, Lisa Kudrow, Matt le Blanc, Mathew Perry, and David Schwimmer are all real. They play the characters on “Friends” which is a big hit. It’s much like real life now. Jennifer and David are the most popular of them and are also involved as a couple. They’re “Hollywood’s favorite couple.” This story follows the lives of the six close cast members through fame, fortune, love, loss, despair, and well…life.

They were going through the final run-through of the newest episode. It was Thursday and tomorrow was Friday, the day they taped in front of a live audience. They were getting towards the end of the episode. In this scene, Rachel, Phoebe, and Monica were all in Monica and Rachel’s apartment. They were talking about this new guy that Monica had met recently. Monica and Phoebe were sitting on the couch and Rachel was in the chair. Rachel got up to get something from the kitchen.

Mon: so I don’t know if I should call him or not.

Rach: (walking into the kitchen) would you just call him already!?

Jen: ow! @#%$!

Court: what happened?

Jen: I hit my toe on the leg of the table.

Lisa: you ok?

Jen: yeah.

Kevin (Bright): Jen, are you alright?

Jen: yeah, I’m fine.

Kevin: ok, take it from Monica’s line “should I call him.”

Jen walks back over to the chair, limping. Lisa laughs.

Jen: it’s not that funny. It hurt.

Lisa: I’m sorry. It was kinda funny though. All we heard was a bang and you say, “ow, @#%$.”

Jen: yeah, hilarious.

Lisa: sorry.

Court: ready?

Jen/Lisa: yeah.

Mon: so I don’t know if I should call him or not.

Rach: (walking to the kitchen, limping.) oh my god would you just call him already? You’re driving me insane.

Mon: but what if he doesn’t like me.

Phoebe: didn’t he give you his number?

Mon: yeah.

Phoebe: well, that obviously means something.

Mon: I don’t know…

Rach: if you don’t call him I will.

Mon: Rachel!

Phoebe: yeah, you already have Ross. Let me call him.

Mon: Phoebe!

Phoebe: what?

Mon: I’m gonna call him.

Rach: thank god.

Monica shoots Rachel a look. Rachel sticks her tongue out and makes a face. Lisa starts laughing. Jen and Courtney start laughing too.

Kevin: girls.

All: sorry.

Kevin: ok, lets start from when Ross enters.

All: ok.

Kevin: David, you’re up.

David: ok.

Ross enters their apartment.

Ross: hey honey.

Rach: hey you.

Ross: how was your day?

Rach: eh, alright. It’s starting to look up though.

Ross: are you free tonight?

Rach: depends.

Ross: on what?

Rach: what’s tonight?

Ross: I was thinking dinner and a movie, and maybe…dessert.

Rach: then yeah, I’m free.

Ross: you had other plans?

Rach: no, but if you wanted to a documentary kind of thing, I would have made other plans.

Ross: funny. Listen, I gotta get back to work.

Rach: but you just got here.

Ross: well I only hade like 30 minutes off and by the time I got down here and the time it takes me to get back.

Mon: you could have just called.

Ross: yeah, but then I wouldn’t have gotten to see my favorite girl.

Rach: aw, honey, that’s so sweet.

Ross: it’s true.

Rach: I love you.

Ross: I love you too.

Phoebe: I love you too!

Ross and Rachel turn around and glare at Phoebe.

Phoebe: what? I do. Not like that! Ew! But as friends.

Ross: thanks Phoebes.

Phoebe: anytime.

Ross: (to Rach) so I’ll see you tonight.

Rach: yeah.

Ross: bye.

Rachel leans in and kisses him. What’s meant to be a short little good-bye kiss turns into much more. Jen slipped her tongue into David's mouth, he gladly accepted it.

Court: Jen?

Jen ignores her and keeps kissing David.

Kevin: cut guys.

Both Jen and David ignore him too. Finally Matt walks up to them and pulls Jen away from David.

Jen: hey!

Matt: it had to be done. Geez, you guys can’t get enough of each other.

David: not if you pull her away.

Matt: well some of us would like to get home before 1am. Is she that good?

David: (looking at Jen) she’s great.

Jen smiles, all giddy, just like a schoolgirl. Matt turns to her and takes her face in his hands and kisses her. Jen looks shocked, along with David, but every one else starts laughing. Matt breaks the kiss.

Matt: you’re right, she is good.

Jen: what was that?!

Mathew comes walking onto the set and right over to Jen, doing the same as Matt did. He soon breaks the kiss.

Mathew: ah, you’re right.

David: alright alright, enough with the kissing of my girlfriend.

Courtney and Lisa start laughing and Jen walks over to them. David and the guys stand where the were and start talking. Kevin walks over to the girls to give them direction for the next scene. Jen walked into her house, setting the keys on a table by the front door. She looked over at the clock; it read 12:35am. David would probably be over in about 30 minutes. He had to stay on the set a little longer with Kevin. She went upstairs and got ready for bed. By the time she was done he would be here. She walked out of the bathroom, just having got out of the shower and laid down on the bed, still in a towel. She was so tired. She hated these late nights. In the beginning they were never stuck there past 8 or 9, but now she’s lucky if she can leave before 11. And tomorrow was the day they had to tape in front of an audience. She loved that, it was always fun and they had a good time, but she just wasn’t up for it. It takes a lot out of you. All the screaming and excitement from the fans. At times you thrive off their energy, but sometimes it could just be a pain in the butt. The pressure of having to get it perfect, or at least trying to get it perfect on the first shot so you’re not stuck there forever. Most of the time they would be done with the shooting by 8, send the audience away, then Kevin or Marta always wants to fix something and then you’re doing numerous scenes over again until at least 12am. When she first started on the show it was so much fun. She, nor the other actors, didn’t care how late they were there till, all they cared about was that they were doing it. They were all having so much fun. After rehearsal or a taping they would all go out for a bite to eat or a drink. They were all really close. But now, everyone just goes their separate ways at the end of the day. They’re still close, but not as much. They girls are closer to one another than they are to the guys, and vice versa. Of course, she was close with David. That all started last year. Her character, Rachel, and his, Ross, became a couple on the show. I guess when you have to kiss so many times something’s bound to happen. And so it did. Now they were a couple in real life. They only problem was the fact that they were famous. The paparazzi followed them everywhere, and that puts a major strain on the relationship.

David walked through the front door and could hear Jen in the kitchen. He dumped his keys and walked to the kitchen. Jen was standing at the counter eating something and reading something. She stood there in HIS boxers shorts and a baggy shirt, her hair was damp and pulled back into a messy bun. He had to admit, she looked really good.

David: hey honey.

She turned around and smiled at him.

Jen: hey.

David: whatcha eating?

Jen: soup. Want some?

David: no thanks. Whatcha reading?

Jen: oh, just some article about something that happened to someone yesterday.

David: it’s really sinking in I see.

Jen: it got boring. What time is it?

David: 2.

Jen: oh. What took so long?

David: we just looked over the script to figure out the time and stuff.

Jen: interesting.

David: isn’t it. So, how was your day?

Jen: funny. Well, if you’re really interested…

David: oh but I am.

Jen: well, there’s this guy…

David: oh really?

Jen: yeah. He’s tall, dark hair, big brown eyes, very cute, nice build, and the greatest smile.

David: you don’t say. And what would this man’s name be?

Jen: ya know, I didn’t catch it. I was more focused on ‘other’ things.

David: sounds like a good day.

Jen: oh it was. But I have a feeling that tonight’s gonna be pretty good too.

David: have something in mind?

Jen: just a few things.

David: oh really?

Jen: yeah.

She smiled at him and he walked towards her, picking her up (like in TOW The Sailor Uniform). She giggled and kissed him. He leads her out of the kitchen, down the hall, and up the stairs to the bedroom.

Jen woke up rather early for her. It was only 8am, on a Sunday. Sunday was her day off. David had to go with Matt to some sort of charity event thing, so she was alone for the day. It was sunny and actually warm outside, despite the fact that it was mid-November. She decided to go shopping. It was a perfect day for that. She’d go to Rodeo Drive and just walk down the street instead of drive. Christmas was slowly approaching so she figured she’d start buying presents now. She took a quick shower, blow-dried her hair, put on only a little bit of make-up, and put on a pair of jeans and her favorite shirt, a white, tight-fitting baby doll shirt, with a picture of Marilyn Monroe on the front, posing in the famous skirt blowing scene. She brushed her hair once more, leaving it down. It fell just below her shoulders, framing her face, and it looked perfect, as always. She slipped on her favorite black flip flops and grabbed her sun glasses, using them as a head band for the time being. Downstairs she grabbed a cup of orange juice and an energy bar for breakfast, and made her way to the front door. Her purse was lying on the table by the front door with her keys. She picked up her purse, left the house, locked the door, and got into her car (her new silver Jaguar). Even this early in the morning the L.A. traffic was in full swing. It took her about 30 minutes to finally make it to a side street off of Rodeo. The second she got out she heard a camera snap. ‘God, they’re everywhere’ she thought to herself. A young teenage girl ran up to her and asked her for her autograph. She signed the paper and made her way down the street to Rodeo. The first store she passed was Prada. She went inside and started looking at some shirts. She remembered that Courtney kept saying how much she had liked one of the shirts she had bought recently, so she figured she’d get her one. She left the store about 45 minutes later. She was carrying on big bag, having spent $1,000 on clothes for Lisa and Court. As she was walking down the street, running a list of presents she needed to buy through her head, she felt someone walk up next to her and take her hand.

Guy: well well well. How are you?

Jen: (pulling her hand from his). Josh. I’m fine. Great actually.

Josh: and how’s what’s-his-name?

Jen: David. He’s fine.

Josh: well of course he is, he’s got you.

Jen: what do you want?

Josh: hey, just cause we’re not dating anymore doesn’t mean we can’t be civil. I just want to talk.

Jen: well I don’t have time.

Josh: just coffee. Let’s just grab a cup of coffee. I miss you.

Jen: Josh, please. I really don’t have time.

Josh: just 15 minutes. Please. I won’t stop until you say yes.

Jen: fine. 15 minutes, that’s it.

Josh: thanks.

Here, let me get that for you. He takes the bag from her and carries it for her. They cross the street and walk into the little coffee place on the corner. They sit down at a little table and order a cup of coffee each.

Josh: I saw “Friends” last night.

Jen: oh yeah?

Josh: yeah. It was an earlier one though. You’re great in it.

Jen: thanks.

Josh: so what’s new with you?

Jen: actually, not much. Well, besides me and David, but I don’t think you wanna hear about that.

Josh: no, not really.

Jen: what about you?

Josh: I was seeing someone, but we broke up.

Jen: aw, I’m sorry. Why, if you don’t mind me asking.

Josh: my fault.

Jen: how?

Josh: I don’t know, I guess I’m not ready to be with someone. There’s still someone that I love, so it’s kinda hard to move on.

Jen: who? (getting that it’s her). Oh. I see.

Josh: let’s talk about something else.

Jen: alright.

Josh: so I saw in a magazine the other day that “Friends” is gonna be around for two more seasons.

Jen: yeah.

Josh: that’s great. It’s a great show, real funny.

Jen: uh huh.

They go on talking for a while. Jennifer begins to feel a bit more relaxed. Jen’s laughing at something that Josh just said.

Josh: (smiling). See, isn’t this nice?

Jen: (smiles). Yeah.

Josh puts his hand on hers and smiles at her. A camera flash goes off. Jen’s smile disappears and she pulls her hand out from under his. She just sort of sat there, staring into space. They ARE everywhere. She just hoped that tomorrow morning this picture wouldn’t be all over the press.
